Matched

here is a book I was expecting to be a bit more of a romantic cheese fest, but actually it turned out to be a wonderfully creepy dystopian novel set in a world where “the society” has made all of your choices for you. Life is perfect. They choose your job, partner, leisure activities and how many hours you spend on them, what you eat and how much, what you wear, and when you die (80.. everyone dies at 80) it’s perfect. No one has any possessions, there are only 100 songs, 100 movies, etc… everything else had been destroyed. Anyway.I loved it. It wasn’t like the best written book ever …but god do I love dystopian fiction. And yes there is romance .. but it’s tame. I was surprised. In a good way.
