Reread and re-reviewed in February 2018.

Still a favourite, I cannot get enough of these characters.

The main characters are still Rush and Blaire only in this book we get alternate chapters in both of these characters POV. Rush is struggling with Blaire going home and honestly all through the book, even though he and Blaire get back together he still struggles with his priorities and misses out on a few important milestones with Blaire. Blaire in this book becomes a lot more reliant on others than she was in the first book, mainly because she finds out she's pregnant pretty early on.

The secondary characters remain to be Woods, Grant, Bethy and in this book I feel Nan is worth a mention. Woods really does come out as a standout character in this book helping Blaire out as much as he could and didn't even once try it on with her. Grant doesn't actually have much to do with this book as the series is gearing up for him to have his own romance story. Bethy is still a great friend to Blaire and though she now has a steady relationship she still goes out of her way to help Blaire in her predicament. Nan in this book is as much a bitch as every but we do get to understand a bit more of why she is the way she is.

The storyline is good and it escalates the series in a brilliant way getting ready for the climax of Blaire and Rush's relationship why still keeping readers interested in the secondary characters who may get the opportunity to step up. The pacing is good and again I have already started the next book in the series.

4 stars, a great read
