I hate to say it but....this is probably my least favorite Kasie West book. Usually, I ADORE them and devour every word up until the very last page but this time, I found it hard to even finish it. I don't know if the storyline was just too unrelatable or if the characters (Maddie and Seth excluded) were just that awful. The only part I truly enjoyed was the romance and everything else was just frustrating to the point where I took SEVERAL day long breaks. The ending was adorable though...even though we never really got closure on everything outside the ship. Do her parents get counseling? Does her brother ever get help for his obvious gambling problem? Does Elise ever apologize? We spent so long on these storylines and never got ANY closure. It's almost as frustrating as the book itself.
