This was adorable. I love Jem so it was so nice to follow him and his life throughout the last century and a half. It was also lovely to spend more time with characters I've come to love and ones we don't know quite that well yet.

If this novella has taught me one thing it's that I really need to reread all the Shadowhunter Chronicles again in order because I'm starting to get a little confused. I mainly need to re-read TDA because, the last story in particular, made me realise I can't remember a lot of it. I'd completely forgotten about Ash and Thule. I do still love this world immensely and it just shows how vastly it has grown but its now time for a refresher.
