This is a great poetry collection for someone who wants to start reading poetry. 

Nothing is too complex or overly complicated (that’s not bad, it makes it easier for people to comprehend when reading poetry). The poems are story-like and melodic, some have hints of rhyme which isn’t personally my preference but didn’t turn me away. 

There were some really great lines and stanzas. I felt like the poems are the beginning were much stronger than the ones near the end. A great first poetry collection!
