The Shadow of Death by Christopher Pike

5.0

The Thirst series continually grabs me and pulls me in. I love that there is so much more depth than in most vampire novels. Sita is a very complex character and you almost never know what she's thinking. This installment was very gripping. We travel with Sita and friends as they try to take down two monstrous powers that humankind could possibly fall prey to. We struggle with Sita as she goes through some religious trials. All in all I'm left with the feeling that Sita is overall a good person. I'm anxious to see where the next book takes us in her adventures.
