HAVOC was absolutely captivating. The intimate scenes rank among the most compelling I have ever encountered in this genre. The boldness of the encounters-whether in the car parked in the school lot, the principal’s office, or elsewhere-added a thrilling edge to the narrative. I was particularly drawn to the scene where Bernadette was with Hael under Victor’s command, only for Victor’s jealousy to ignite and him to assert control. However, my favorite moment was undoubtedly when Hael and Bernadette chose to be intimate in the principal’s office; even when he unexpectedly entered, they remained undeterred and threatened him into silence, which heightened the tension beautifully.
Another striking aspect was the recurring disregard for protection between Bernadette and Victor, which added a raw, almost reckless intensity to their dynamic, underscoring their complex relationship and the stakes involved. My sole critique is that the focus on Hael and Victor, while compelling, left me yearning for more exploration of the other characters’ intimate connections. Given that this is the inaugural book, I had hoped for a broader distribution of such scenes across the ensemble.
I eagerly anticipate the continuation of the series to witness the evolution of Bernadette’s harem and the deepening of these relationships. I am eager to see all of them united, lavishing her with the devotion and pleasure she so richly deserves. CM Stunich has firmly established herself as one of my favorite authors in the reverse harem genre.
