Heaven Is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back by Todd Burpo
2.0
I wish I could give this book 1 1/2 stars.
This book is focused on a little boy's story of heaven. However it is written by his father (Who is a pastor). The entire first half of the book focuses on the families story before the little boy goes to heaven. I was hoping to have more focus on what the little boy experienced in heaven but the majority of the focus was on the family on earth.
I'm skeptical. I just wonder how an adult can twist a child's words and wonder if things were overlooked or exaggerated in this book.
Be prepared for a lot of scripture and passages from the bible. At times the author pushed Christianity. I understand the author was trying to get his views across to non-Christians but also think he could have gone about it in a less straight forward way.
