I was really hoping to enjoy this book more as I loved the premise, but it really went downhill about halfway in. There are tons of weird anachronisms (a bikini and very modern inventions in a perceived medieval fantasy setting), little to no world building, and the romance was lackluster. There was no build up to their romance which is the fun of the fake marriages. Plot started moving in the last 3 chapters and it felt like it was incredibly rushed. I did enjoy the beginning of the book, but what a let down! If anyone knows of any other elf king x servant books please let me know.
