Remember Me?
by Sophie Kinsella
I started out hating this book. At first, I kept thinking that this book was exactly like What Alice Forgot, and that one was a whole lot better. In Alice, she's forgotten ten years of her life. Here Lexi has forgotten 3. It's a lot less realistic that such drastic changes would have happened in just 3 years. The truth is that most people change very little in 3 years, and the idea that she would have completely overhauled her look, become director of the company she worked for, and become the wife of a billionaire husband is so far-fetched that I had trouble getting past the first two chapters. The only thing I can really say is that by the end of the book, I was sold on the characters. I really liked Lexi, and Jon, and even Eric. I cared about what happened to them, and wanted to see where Lexi's current life would lead her. I still think What Alice Forgot is a better book, but I did enjoy reading this book in the end.
