SUCH A SWEET STORY!
I loved this story! It touched my heart in many ways.
From the heart ache of Avery, to the desire to do what is right in his father's eyes by Colin. They both dealt with laying aside their own desires for their future in order to learn to trust in a God who loved them deeply. A God who wanted their best even when at first it didn't appear that way.
In this story the author wrote in such beautiful word pictures that you could just see the snow falling, the grandeur of the palace, the pomp of the royal life, and the quaint lifestyle of a town where time stood still. I loved this whole series and will look forward to reading it again.
