Brilliant writing, but I listened to this as an audiobook which I think hindered my experience - the narrator was brilliant(!) but my multitasking doesn't work so well with audiobooks as it usually does when the book has a slow plot. Saying that, the parts I did properly give my attention to were quiet masterpieces. Will maybe pick up again one day as a physical. Talented writing and strong character building.
