The Mystery at the Moss-covered Mansion by Carolyn Keene

3.0

I feel like Nancy Drew books are what everyone has a few in their homes but not many have read them, or that may just be me. When I started reading this one I did not understand how explosive oranges at NASA related to a mansion that had a bunch of wild animals at it.
This story was a ride that I was not expecting. This was like riding the tower of terror with how many things kept happening to this group. It was a little annoying that nothing made sense or seemed to really go together till the very last few pages. I enjoyed reading it but it wasn’t anything extraordinary. It reminded me of a scooby doo episode and I can see this being a fun episode or movie but in book form it just falls flat for me.
I gave it three stars because yes I enjoyed it and laughed at various points but I don’t think I am going to remember much of this book after awhile. (Except for the exploding oranges at NASA because who could forget that)
