Well this was an interesting read! I have read a few of the authors other books and they had been easy/fluffy reads which I have liked in between darker reads. This was unexpected! As much as I wanted a HEA between the characters...I liked this twist! I must admit I did not initially see it coming, and was a little shocked. But I did prefer this more emotionally complex read from the author compared to their others!
