Promises I Made finishes the Lies I Told duology. And to my surprise it almost got better. When I first picked this book up about a year ago I had trouble getting into the story. Yet, this time around I got pulled in and finished the series finale in maybe 5 or 6 hours(two or three of which involved me trying to read in a dark car). The stakes are a lot higher for Grace and her friends as she tries to get justice.
Content: Language- F-word a few times, h-word possibly. I can't remember what all was used.
Sexual: Mentions Grace and Logan previously kissing in the last book, mentions Cormac and the target Miranda doing things..., and a homosexual couple.
Violence: None that I remember.
