It all starts with a bus crash and a mysterious military base.
- Who doesn't love a good countdown trope? As the reveal grew nearer and nearer, I couldn't help but read furiously to discover what it was.
- A perfect winter read! Set in South Dakota, it is plenty cold. could feel the chill through the pages.
- Child has a way of "naming" characters without giving them a name, which I admire and respect. Not easy to do.
- We see Reacher have some rare moments of vulnerability. Gives some more insight into his character and values.
