Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

3.0

A story of two friends often in love, but never lovers. Best friends, turned enemies, turned friends, turned business partners. Fame fortune, misfortune. Disability, toxic relationships, complicated relationships. Video games, art, growth as individuals. Growth in the gaming industry. A layered and complex story spanning decades.

This book has been termed a classic and best book of 2022.

Did it live up to the hype? Sadly, for me, no.

It was a good story. A unique story.

I enjoyed the art and creativity described and put into the games. I loved the details and throwback and revamp of "The Oregon Trail".

Unfortunately, I was never super interested in any one character. I was never emotionally moved or invested. I was not all that curious to find out how things would play out. It honestly just fell kind of flat for me.
