A Delicate Truth by John le Carré

3.0

I like Modern Le Carre almost as much as Vintage Le Carre. The sentences are more clipped; the descriptions more elliptical; the stories more outraged and polemical. But the complex characterization and thorough research remain a constant. And the "delicate truth" here (I think) is how lives, relationships and careers are resolutely scuppered by the act of whistleblowing.
