Whoa ... I love Tessa! She is stubborn, perhaps to a fault, fierce and strong! She goes through what would crush many people with a cheating ex-boyfriend, crushing debt and only one place to go. Her Mother is a real piece of work but her Aunts are real gems. She gets conscripted into MERLIN Group as she is a Davenport witch. She learns she is a special sort of witch and then has to fight a Very Unbalanced Sorceress bent on taking over the world. Oh & then there is Marcus the city Chief ... sparks fly but are they the good type?
