Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland by Amanda Berry

4.0

What an absolutely harrowing experience these three women went through. They endured a life that no one should have to, and for that they are an inspiration.

This story is mostly from Amanda’s perspective, possibly because she wrote in her journal about what was happening throughout her captivity. Michelle wasn’t mentioned often, but I assume that is because they knew she wanted to share her own story and didn’t want to take that opportunity from her.
