Ok, I know, I know, this is a really deep account of the Vietnam war and stuff. But I... kinda got bored of it? I'm sorry, I really am, but I just... don't really care for war. Including this one. I read this one for school, and that's one of the reasons I'm not too surprised that I didn't like this book much. Most of the books I read for school aren't very good. Besides, I read basically the same thing but WW1 version last year, in the form of All Quiet on the Western Front . That book wasn't the greatest - neither was this one. It was just depressing and sad and violent. And did I mention depressing? Because it was very depressing. Anyway. This book just wasn't for me, that's the thing. It's not a bad book per se, it's just not for me.
