got rlly boring after everyone but the MC died, but i did like the fact that some of the women were queer and were able to express it tenderly (oough) as well as how grief was depicted in a MC that was, to me, autistic coded and possibly on the aroace spectrum. also, the fact that the author is jewish (shared in the afterword) gave me pause and made the needless suffering the women and some men faced more horrifying. truly crazy work all around.
solid book, i can see why people like it i guess but like i said, it got boring when the MC was left on her own
