Catherine has done it again! I don't know how she writes each book in the series better and better but she does and I'm all here for it! I really enjoyed Roan's story. He's grumpy, mysterious and underneath it all... caring!
Roan has had a rough past and because of that he's been this brooding, grumpy guy who doesn't interact well with others. But Aspen and Cady change all that. I love that both of them could fall for him, realize the kind of guy he really is and break down his walls.
The suspense as always was on point and definitely keeps you on your toes while you look at Aspens past and what's going on now and trying to figure out who is after her now!
This is such a heartwarming story, with plenty of suspense, brooding protective men and lots of love. Definitely recommend picking this up.
