The Light Over London by Julia Kelly
4.0
This was much better than I had originally thought.
I added and deleted this book from my “to buy” list so many time because I wasn’t sure. There are so many WWII books out and the pool has been so diluted.
While this has both a romance element and a historical element, they are interweaved in a way that creates an interesting and fast-paced story. I really liked the characters of Louise, Kate, and the gunner girls. I could have done without the “modern” story (too much romance) but the characters weren’t vacuous and insipid so that made it all the more tolerable.
I was pleasantly surprised with this book!
