The Novelist by Jordan Castro

4.0

So damn good.

Truly confronting, uncomfortable, tedious and disorientating - all incredibly necessary elements to match the content of the novel.

A very talented delivery of internet addiction, attention disorder and general yo-yo-ing between self-importance and low self-esteem. One of the most visceral depictions of "Live"-minded thoughts and internet use/behaviours I've ever read - this hit home the hardest.

The Novelist is a super fresh and intriguing new route in the direction of modern literature - scared and excited to see more work like this.

Creatives, procrastinators and anyone anxiously ambitious to become an idealised version of themselves, could take something from this novel.

Jordan Castro fan right here!
