This one shows that real friendship and love will conquer the hardest, darkest obstacles. Franz struggles with himself. He is a hard man, there is often reasons to sympathize and relate with him. The story is also a profoundly one-of-a-kind look at WWII. I sure hope to read more tales about Franz and Amos, because I'm hooked and want to know what happens to them!
