I have tried reading Blame(3-4x) only to give up after a few chapters because the stories and how they were connected didn't make much sense to me.
What made me persistent in my attempts to try again and again, was the incredible artwork by Tsutomu Takahashi. And now that I have finally gotten around to finishing the first volume in this
dark gritty post-cyberpunk series with brooding atmosphere and epic world building, I can't help but gasp in awe and admiration as to how the minimal to non existent dialogues, and loosely connected narrative not only work but also why they are essential in making 'Blame!', 'Blame!'.
Can't recommend it enough.
