The Last Trial by Robert Bailey

5.0

And I am hooked! Bailey has me so enamored with the characters, I am plowing through all I can find about McMurtrie, Drake, and all their Alabama friends. As a good Georgia fan, I've worked at getting passed "Roll Tide" and loved every minute of the legal thriller.

Bailey has done a nice job of both tying together plots from the first two novels without losing a first time reader in the carried over storyline. The story is one that is intriguing as McMurtrie defends an unlikely townsperson and is pulled deeper and deeper in by her daughter.

Enjoy the writing, the town, the law, and all Bailey has to offer. As in the first two books of the series he does not disappoint.
