sarahetc 's review for:
Damascus Countdown
by Joel C. Rosenberg
Having read the reviews I wrote for the first two books in this series, they seem to go the same way for me. I think it's way too wordy and then the end is just a rip-roaring good time. Same here. David remains at the center of the action, in and out of many an improbable and unlikely situation in pursuit of the remaining two of Iran's nukes. The best part was, by far, Beerjandi's (sp?) witness and subsequent martydom at the end. I'll stick with Rosenberg for the rest of the series. But next time I'll remind myself that it's just so many words until the good stuff.
