This was a great read! Definitely kept me on my toes! Unfortunately it wasn’t like a book that I found myself wanting to pick up but then again when I did pick it up I regretted not picking it up sooner, so it could be just a me thing. Points off because the ending…. ERM WHAT?!?! I lowkey predicted that

everyone at the ball was involved with aces and that they would be literally getting jumped, but it felt rushed, yk? Like we didn’t get to hear if the school got shut down, if there was an expose with the black reporter. I did cry when I saw that Devon and Terrell were happy together and Chiamaka ending up becoming a doctor like yessss black excellence! Also like my nigga Devin was getting jumped left and right, right and left like DAMNNNNN! Like God forbid someone’s gay like wtf. And he got the most heat for it. I know the Chiamaka was slut-shamed and exposed for the things that they set her up for but like Devon literally was being PULLED THROUGH THE RINGER like I was getting annoyed for him, so that’s why I also had to deduct some points 😭

but yea this book is definitely gonna have me side eyeing everyone for a little bit so!
