The plot itself was really interesting, and I really liked Eira (FMC) and Kol (MMC). I was interested in the whole book because of how good the story was, but ultimately the romance was lacking. I loved that it was a reluctant allies to lovers and a quick short spicy scene, but it just felt like forced attraction and kind of robotic, like there really wasn’t any chemistry between the two characters. I think the ending was really good, but as a romance reader, this wasn’t the book for me.
