This was grumpy × sunshine goodness in a book. It was definitely bittersweet to be closing the final Brown sisters books because I've devoured the last two and needed more, and I did receive it in spades.

Eve Brown is chaotic when it comes to keeping a job and she flees whenever things get difficult. But determined to prove her parents wrong, she drives around town to clear her mind and knocks her way into her first job interview, utterly unprepared. Of course, the owner of the B&B ain't thrilled about her spontaneous presence, but Jacob Wayne is desperate for a new chef. What happens when Eve runs him over after her frazzled and failed attempt at the interview?

As always, Talia Hibbert wows me with her MMC (she's got crack in them!). The banter between Eve and Jacob had me grinning and swooning. I love how attentive the characters were to each other. They took note of what the other liked and did little things to make them happy. The autism rep in this book was well done, but I felt like it ended in a cliffhanger for one character (no spoilers!).

I felt like the plot lost itself at certain points and I wish we had more glimpses of Castell Cottage and the Gingerbread Festival than the pub scene. Which I took half a star off for. But nobody does romance like Talia Hibbert so pick all 3 books up. NOW.
