DANG WOMAN, HOW DO YOU MAKE ME LOVE THESE BOOKS SO MUCH?
After I adoring both Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph (DUVAL FOREVER, JUST SAYING), I didn't want to read Mortal Heart. I actually didn't want to read Dark Triumph, because I just loved Grave Mercy so dang much.
BUT.
Dark Triumph did not disappoint.
And neither did Mortal Heart.
This book is just spectacular. It's execution. It's development of characters both old and new. It's simply just AH!
It might be my new favorite. But I still love Duval the best.
