I loved the first 55% of this book and the last 5% of the book. The rest was just there. I missed the side characters from the first book. I liked seeing some reoccurring characters. I wasn’t a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope or the am I loosing the baby trope. It was all too much. They broke up twice because no one went to therapy. It just felt like there was too much longing and not enough talking. The struggle with Winnie’s parents was solid. The talk on purity culture was a much needed one. But there was about two hours of unnecessary yearning that I wish I could have done without.
