This read was exceptional. The dual points of view between Viv in 1982 and Carly in 2017 were incredible. I loved how the views connected and that I was able to piece little things together like a puzzle. The novel had a disappearance and murders but also with paranormal aspects. This was something a bit different than what I have read before. The ghost interactions were such a wonderful addition and had such purpose. I threw myself into this story without exactly knowing the background or summary and I’m so glad I went in without it. It made it that much better. The details throughout the book made me feel like I was actually a part of it. Like I was the one doing the research in trying to find out what truly happened back in 1982. There were some unforeseen events that I didn’t not expect and it kept me guessing. This was such a good spooky, crime, thriller novel to fly through.
