The first 2/3 were too slow for me and I struggled to keep with it. The pace picked up and I enjoyed the last third a lot more.
I felt some of the ableist language was unnecessary, I get it was to get a feel of the 90s/00s but I just didn't think the book needed it. Also the dream sequence was confusing and I rushed through it. The story of Haruki #1 and the truth behind Haruki #2's job loss were intriguing.
