Lovely book.  Nominally about magical beings but really about doing the right thing for children and loving your life in full color.  Well crafted- the recurring “don’t you wish you were here” device was especially good. 

You will defini5rly be yelling ‘what are you doing, stay you idiot’ at Linus when he leaves the island.
