Women being true to themselves is always a great premise. This book shows that. Marian’s life story is so compelling and it’s contrasts amazingly with Hadley’s modern 21st century life and what her fears and challenges are, as well as freedoms that Marian didn’t have. I loved the ending, after a whole life, it was a satisfying ending and I love that it was revealed with Hadley so many years later.
