• Thoughts:
I have been reading LB Dunbars Christmas books. So, I was really excited to listen to a book outside of that little genre. I enjoyed this book. I loved the single dad and the fact that he was essentially facing his issues, and that was turning him into a grumpy bear. I thought his daughters were adorable! He was a fantastic father.
She was this spunky country music star and fell fast and hard for this baseball player and his girls. She had some demons that she was working through as well. I would say the book only got 4 stars from me because I didn't feel they had much of a connection. I felt something was missing for the first little bit. The other part of what I struggled with was the back and forth. I am fine with a few spats and issues, I felt this couple had one too many. Personally, as a reader, I am not a fan of it. However, it did not ruin the story for me. I very much liked it and enjoyed it. I read this series, but of order, so now I need to go back and start from the beginning.

Narrator Thoughts:
Oh my gosh. JF Harding and CJ Bloom. Say no more. I have become a huge JF fan. I love his voice. CJ has always been a favorite of mine. Throw them together and Bam. Instant perfection.
