ೃ — First of all, I don't exactly know what to feel about this book. The story follows Keir who reigns havic over New York City as their reigning mafia king of the underworld. He's a man feared by all, he'll take what he wants, he'll kill without remorse. He's a cold-hearted ruthless man whom you don't want to get on the wrong side of; and Sailor who was used as collateral, sold to Keir by her own husband due to his gambling debts he had no way of paying in a hurry.

I really can't find the right words to describe the whole story. Yes, the storyline was great, but there's really something off with how it was written. The romance looks like it just came out of nowhere. I don't like how their relationship progressed, as their personality and emotions throughout the book were so confusing. There were also lots of unnecessary parts that were out of place in a book like this. Some of the chapters were also not that important, and it acted like fillers. Lastly, this book also ended with a cliffhanger so I'm hoping that the second book will be much better.
