This is everything that I wanted in a romance book, and Kayleigh has delivered and more. Kayleigh had me on my toes every click of the page I was so invested in the story that I didn’t see the end coming. While reading, I couldn’t help but find a piece of myself in Rio, and that is when you know you have found a fantastic author. As I read, my emotions were like a rollercoaster that didn’t stock up on tissues, wine, and ice cream. BW&ST is the third book in the π•±π–—π–†π–ˆπ–™π–šπ–—π–Šπ–‰ π•½π–π–žπ–’π–Šπ–˜ π•Ύπ–Šπ–—π–Žπ–Šπ–˜. In this book, you get to meet Emeric Banes & Rionach Moran, along with a few more characters. We first get a glimpse of Emeric in Golden Wings & Pretty Things, but in this one, we see how he will go to the ends of the earth for his family no matter if it hinders his safety. He may do/ say things that are a bit unhinged, but that’s what makes him so loveable. Rio is more or less the black sheep of her family & she is perfectly fine with that.  One thing leads to another, leading Emeric to enter her life. Things get spicy in and out of the bedroom.

The love that Emeric & Rio have for one another at the beginning is like two storms coming together, and in the end, they make a beautiful rainbow. This has been one of my favorite books of 2024. I give this book a 5-star rating, and I highly recommend it along with the previous two. If you haven’t checked out Kayleigh Kings' books, I 100% recommend them.

All opinions are my own.
