A post high school/early college love story where the most ideal assessment of a man falls first and harder. There are several complications in the relationship, but the MMC handles them with a level of selflessness that would occasionally be so unrealistic that it pulled me out of the story. Overall, if he existed, he would be perfect so I still enjoyed the book.
