Thuvia, Maid of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

3.0

Compared to the previous ones, this was fun and quick. It's the first NOT written in first person, which serves the narrative well because it eliminates Carter's internal monologuing about how great he thinks he is. The swap games in perspective were sloppy, but the plot is endearingly soap-operatic and the descriptions remain beautiful.
