This book was really beautiful. It was written so beautiful especially towards the end and when describing. the celebration of the day of the dead. I myself am Spanish but my family and culture do not celebrate day of the dead so it was special to read about it like I was living through it. Yadriel is so beautiful but I think I knew that coming into reading this story. What surprised me the most was how beautiful Julian was! He just stole my heart and everything else. He had so much struggle in his life but no hate, which was beautiful to read his character come about. I seriously loved this toy, these characters, and this novel! Yadriel and Julian forever!!!!
