The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
5.0
I can’t think of the last time a book has so consumed my imagination and my heart like this one did.
It’s otherworldly, impossible, achingly nostalgic, frightening and yet comforting; it’s childhood and spirituality and fantasy rolled into one beating, breathing *thing*.
I finished reading it in just two sittings and will read it again and again and again.
