Despite being reminded of it a few times as long as I forgot that the FMC was 8 when the MMC met her and he was 21 it was an ok romance story. I’m usually ok with step-brother tropes but this one just felt icky when you remembered she was a small child when he met her and he was an adult. 
I like this author and am going to read the next book in the series but this one just wasn’t it for me.
