For my first ever fantasy book this was quite good!
I did take me a longer time than usual to get into the story, but that wasn't the book's fault and simply more to do with me learning the layout of a new genre.
I enjoyed the writing and loved the main characters a lot. The plot was also interesting and fun to follow. That ending makes me want to read the next book as well. That is always a good sign!
