Fight Like a Girl by Sheena Kamal

4.0

If I would describe the book in one word it would be intense.
This book talks a lot about violence, but it makes you think about that. Although in some books you think the martial arts are easy here you see and feel the struggle of doing the right move.
The main character is a really strong woman, and I love it! She shows that you should never give up, but work with what you can, and that the hard work will pay off.
The author made me meet a new culture that I didn’t even know, and that’s something I really enjoy because I feel like I am really traveling.

Although it was a strong story there were moments that lifted the mood with a bit of romance. But doesn’t make you forget that the story is about the power that a woman has.
This is a story where you can learn with the character, you may not always agree with Trisha but you will think of her and think about what you are doing.

The story will be marked in me for a long time beacuse of all the power, culture and thinking i did about it.
