I adored this book. I will admit, it was slow to get going, but I wasn't even halfway in and the main character already had a hold on my heart. With vibrant characters, who feel like real people, and beautiful storytelling, Kingfisher has put together a story that's as witty and fun as it is heartwrenching and deeply personal.
