This is the final book in the Seattle Scorpions series.

Jessie Callahan is a fantastic player. He was encouraged and supported by Graham Jenkins. He mentored him and really gave him a chance when there was no other way for him to play.

Jessie meets Grahams daughter, and it is love. Mia loves him too, but there was no way for them to be together in public. Jessie was older, and Graham did not want any player with his daughter.

The sneaking around didn't last, though, and Jessie gets sent to play in Seattle. Mia stays in Texas, and for years, the two of them have little to no contact. But then Mia gets a chance to go to college and not follow where her dad wants her. And the place she picks? Seattle. Where Jessie plays.

They're able to reconnect, and I just loved it. Jessie is complicated and has a lot of family baggage. Mia just wants to spread her wings and choose what SHE wants. Not what her dad wants for her.

Jessie is very close with our guys from book 1-3 and the way they give him advice and take care of each other...

Mia has a big hurdle in her way to HEA with Jessie. Her dad. The one who still sees Jessie as a screw up, and not as someone who's grown so much as a player and a person. Could he ever accept the two of them?
